Matt stands behind each member of this community in their beliefs and decisions for what is best for their family. Whether it is in-person or virtual learning, Matt believes that you should have the choice to decide your children's future.
Matt is a strong believer in financial stability and carries these beliefs to the public school in Somerset. Families of all backgrounds utilize our schools and we as board members must be willing to find common ground and support our district and the financial needs.

SUPPORT
Matt stands behind the administrators, teachers and staff of the Somerset School District. He believes in their expertise, guidance and knowledge of how to operate their buildings and classrooms. He supports and recognizes that each family in the district is faced with unique challenges and he stands behind them to ensure their children's success should they choose to call Somerset School District home.
OPPORTUNITY
Matt sees significant value in giving kids opportunities to succeed and keeps active in the community to make that possible. He is active on the hockey association board and sees value in keeping kids engaged in sports and activities.
His line of work as a public servant gives him a unique look into challenges and root cause impeding children from realizing their successes. It is Matt's goal to provide an environment where every child in his community has the opportunity to succeed and sees that as a shared responsibility of the collective school board members.
